I made yet another little doll this weekend. I'm not really into Disney stuff but the little girl that will be receiving this doll this week LOVES Ariel. Happy Birthday Autumn!

Jocelyn's Farewell
Jocelyn and Ben are moving to Utah this weekend. Liz and I wanted to throw a Farewell Party/Baby Shower for her. Lots of women came and we had ice cream sundaes. Everyone was really generous in contributing to the group gift card to Babies R Us. I'm really sad that they're moving because Jocelyn and I have been spending lots of time together and I'm so mad we didn't meet sooner. I'll miss you Jocelyn.
Jocelyn and her Mom...Joan.

That is baby Savannah.
Here are the a few of us that stuck around pretty late chatting...we're missing a couple people in this photo. ):
Gretchen came just in time to "save" the chocolate topping (which was sooo good)...chocolate from Italy.

Liz's shower

Baby shower for Liz this morning. Gretchen and Jessica did a fabulous job. Fresh flowers, brunchy foods, original shower games, tasty favors...and everything matched the colors of Liz's nursery. They really out did themselves. Here is a shot of some of the women that stuck around at the end. This is my only picture...but if I can get a picture of Liz with the doll I made for her I'll post it later. Update: Liz sent me a few more pictures.

Austin

Austin has such great weather. I get to look at it from my office window. Sad that I have to stay inside for 9+ hours every day now. Still grateful for my job...but look at that sky.

More Dolls

I made this one which is a surprise that might be ruined now. I love the light blue hair so much.
Jocelyn made this one above. Love the polka-dot legs and two ribbons in the hair.
This one is for a friend who is having a baby girl next month. Her nursery colors are pink and brown so I made a receiving blanket to match the pink and brown of the doll.

New Hair

I know it is kind of gross to see hair all on the floor like this...but so much was cut off that I HAD to take a picture. I really liked my stylist and I'm so glad I found her.
Not the best lighting but it gives you an idea of how much hair was chopped off. In this picture I had just gotten home from a Mary Kay make over. Justin gave me instructions before I went..."Don't buy anything." But when I came home he kept saying how pretty my eyes were...maybe I should have bought that "steely" eye-liner. I was good and didn't buy anything but came home with a bunch of info on becoming a consultant. I won't be doing that but I got suckered in to reading the materials anyway.

baby Savannah
Naomi and Michael had a baby girl. Jocelyn and I went over and got to hold her about 5 days after she was born. She is sooo cute and so tiny. Today we got together with friends in between General Conference sessions and Justin got to meet Savannah too.

Devin and Rudy's

The day after my sister went home we had another visitor. Devin...we met him back in L.A. shortly before we moved out here to Round Rock. He stayed with us for 2 nights and it was fun to get to know him better. We went to Rudy's for barbecue last night and stayed for a couple hours just chatting.

black apple for Emily

So, many of you have read my post about 'The Black Apple,' Emily Martin. Justin and I have admired her business sense and talent for a while so he sent her a Justin original black apple. She sent him a grateful email and posted the painting on her blog. Take a look at what she says.
